We’ve hired three new researchers!

We have hired three new researchers for our Scene / Asia project. Haruka Iharada is an assistant professor at Tokyo Arts University Graduate School of Global Arts. She is a specialist in Asian art and activism, most specifically, with regard to activities in Okinawa. Mika Eglinton is an associate professor at Kobe City University of Foreign Studies. As well as being a Shakespeare specialist, she strenuously continues Asian research by participating in research groups such as Asian Shakespeare Intercultural Archive and Asia Women’s Performing Arts Collective. Kenichiro Egami is an anthropologist who has a Masters degree from Goldsmiths, University of London Anthropology and Cultural Politics Course. He now resides in Fukuoka and continues his life-long research on Asia, alongside co-running an alternative art space called Tetra. We are hugely excited to welcome the extremely talented members to our team!
